I was also wanting a good excuse to get a Linux machine up and running (new to me). I found your wview site through a google search, and it looked like what I wanted. I'm very pleased with the results (after a LOT of wrong moves during the installation)."

"Using serial version of the data logger and running the serial link over existing telco infrastructure within the house. Console and server running wview software are on different floors. Davis chose a wiring spec that is exactly the reverse from traditional (US) telephone wiring.
